Trick or Treat (a little late)

I'm such a bad blogger. I'm now adding the halloween pictures I talked about a week ago. Sorry for the delay, I just run out of energy by the end of the night and just want to crash into my bed. Anyway...We had a little zebra running around and she was just too cute!! We didn't do much trick-or-treating, just a few houses then headed home. But it was still a good night.

Oh my goodness. Where do I start? Here it is...November 8 and the last time I posted anything was back in September! I need to do better! Anyway...what all has been going on...??? Hmmm?

Really, the only things that have happened with us lately was our little trip to Austin to see my sisters and their families and then Halloween. We had a nice time in Austin. Not really too much to say about it but we did a little shopping, eating and sleeping. And a little bit of visiting too. :~)

The girls got to paint pumpkins! They had a ton of fun. However, Kenzie decided she didn't want to paint her pumpkin, instead...she painted herself!

It was washable though. Thank goodness!

Playtime

We were bored yet again today. So we decided to take Kenzie to the park. We were going to go to Bergfield, but it was a little crowded when we arrived. So we decided to go to Shiloh Park. We had fun. We didn't stay as long as I would have liked, it was just too hot! Kenzie had little sweat beads on her nose. It was cute!

She had some trouble going down this slide. It was a little curvey and her shoes would get hung up on the plastic. She still had fun though.

East Texas Fair

Well we took Kenzie to the Fair on Thursday. We had a lot of fun too. And Kenzie had a blast! She didn't know what to do with herself.

We walked around and looked at some of the exhibits and of course took her to the livestock pavilions. She loved all the cows. She was mooing at all of'em. It was really cute.

We also let her ride some rides. I rode one with her, but she was able to ride one by herself. She had a lot of fun and DID NOT want to get out of the cars. It was a nice evening with the family though. This first picture is Kenzie in her seat on the way to the fair! She was getting excited. Can't you tell? LOL #2 is of me and her in the spinning dragons. #3 waiting in line for the cars.

She was having so much fun on these cars! She was steering and honking and waving!!!

This year the fair had something a little different. They had some of the prettiest White Tigers. Kenzie just loved them. She was squealing and trying to touch them. Making them all nervous! They had a female...a male...and a baby!!!! It was so cute too.

Kenzie rode the cars again and then we walked around some more, bought a funnel cake and came home. It was a fun night for the Edenfield clan.

Labor Day

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good weekend! We did. We were very lazy. Pretty much just laid around the house all weekend. Kenzie and I cleaned up the backyard Monday while Blake worked on his trailer. Exciting huh?! LOL Yup, that's us! We're very adventurous! Haha. Anyway...hope every one's doing great! Mekenzie

For those of you who haven't had the joy of seeing Kenzie in a while, she has grown up so much!! I can't believe that in just 5 months she'll be TWO YEARS OLD! It has gone by too fast. Anyway, I wanted to post a few recent pictures of her so you could see how beautiful she is!Enjoy...

Finally

Hooray! I've finally gotten the hang of it! I haven't been able to post any pictures to the sidebar without them getting cut in half...until now!! woo-hoo!

Now that I've got my blog looking the way I want it to (at least for now anyway, you all know how much I change my MySpace, hehe) I'll be able to post daily, or at least every other day. I'm sure you all don't want to know how everyday of our exciting lives go!! LOL I wish I did have more stuff to write about though. My friend Kassy has a cooking blog. I don't cook anything exciting like she does though, so I couldn't really write about that. Oh well...maybe I'll get creative one day. Blake can only hope. haha

Alright...I did some reading on the picture help page and I'm going to try a few different things. When I was uploading photos to my profile earlier, it was cutting the picture in half. YEAH! It worked!! OK, so there it is! Pretty huh?! Well it's a man's truck so I guess it's not suppose to be pretty! But it sure is nice! He looks so cute driving in it too. hehe

Catching up!

OK, so I'm finally back on here to post some more! Not too much has happened though since I started this blog. But I will fill you in a what has.

I started a new job on Aug. 20. I was so excited, but a little hesitant too. I have been a house wife since Oct. 2005 and a stay-at-home mom since Feb. 2006. I have enjoyed being at home with Mekenzie. I loved every minute of it. I could still be doing so, but with the economy the way it is these days...you can't afford anything on one income. We are wanting to buy a house soon and I am wanting a bigger vehicle, so it was time for me to start bringing in some mula!

It sucks though because I love spending every minute with Mekenzie. But it's going good so far. I am really liking my job. I went back to work for Cavender's Boot City. All you Texans know what Cavender's is!! For all of those who don't, they are a Western Retail Company and a banging one at that! For more info (if you're really interested) go to www.cavenders.com I am actually working in the web center. I take care of all the customers purchasing online. That's about it that's new with me.

Blake bought a new truck last weekend! It is very nice too!!! He looks so sexy in it! hehe It's a 2002 Chevy Silverado Z71. It's Aggie Maroon and all jacked up! It has big tires with pretty, shiny wheels!! It has like a 3-inch body lift so it's hard for me to get up in it. I have to hick my leg up and climb, LOL. But it's well worth it because you feel unstoppable in that big thing! All the other cars get out of the way when they see it coming. It's going to suck when we have to buy new tires for it because they're $250 a piece! And they say women are high maintenance!

Well that's about it for now! When I can figure out how to post pictures with my blogs, I'll do so. So far, all the ones I've tried posting are getting whacked off. Better luck next time.
